Important information

You should carefully read the following Terms and Conditions before ordering. They are repeated at checkout and require confirmation that they were read and agreed to before placing an order.

Prices

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars, unless you change the currency via the drop down menu.

Taxes

HST is collected for all HST provinces. In the province's with provincial sales tax, it is the responsibility of the buyer to remit.

Secure Payment

To guarantee the highest security of your transaction, we use PayPal to process credit card payments. You do not need a Paypal account to complete the transaction. Clicking the PLACE ORDER button below will redirect you to Paypal to complete the transaction. Your information is securely encrypted and protected against intrusion.

Availability

Since the website does not include an active database of our entire galleries inventory and all of the paintings are one of a kind, it is possible that the original painting you ordered may be sold. The person to buy it first will get priority and all other parties will be fully refunded.
International Sales: If you live outside Canada or the United States, please email us first before your purchase so we can quote shipping costs. The quoted shipping price does not include your country's import duties.

Shipping

All art work is shipped using ground service. We will email the tracking number so that you will know the approximate time of arrival. Customers are responsible for reviewing and ensuring The Art Oasis receives the complete and correct address information for shipping purposes.

Discounted Shipping

 The Art Oasis handling, packaging and shipping rates are discount from the actual shipping rates to keep your cost down. The stretched paintings are large and the couriers charge this kind of packages by size (dimensional weight) not the actual weight.

Delivery Schedule

Please check the paintings details page to confirm the shipping schedule for your painting. Artwork at our retail art gallery or  warehouse will be shipped within 1 to 3  business days.

Packaging

All gallery wrapped paintings are carefully hand packed and shipped in a corrogated card board box marked fragile and sandwiched in packing foam or bubble wrap.

Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order, you may request a cancellation by email to The Art Oasis or by calling 1-250-591-2787(ARTS). If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, please follow our return policy, below. The cancellation will have to be treated as a Return with all applicable fees. Orders which are REFUSED AT DELIVERY will be treated as returns.

Shipping Damage

It is your responsibility to check the painting is in perfect condition on arrival. Notice of damaged merchandise must be submitted to The Art Oasis in writing (email) within 36 hours upon documented delivery date by the shipping courier. Damaged artwork needs to be returned to The Art Oasis for inspection before refunds or replacements can be submitted. In some instances, The Art Oasis may waiver this requirement upon discretion of management. Upon contacting The Art Oasis further details on replacement procedures will be provided.

Return Policy

Customer satisfaction is paramount with The Art Oasis. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a painting you have purchased, we will gladly give you a refund (except for discounted paintings) if you notify us of the return within 1 week. You will be refunded the purchase amount less our actual shipping and packaging costs. Your refund will be made once the painting is returned and seen to be in the same condition it left in.; All products (both defective and non-defective) must be returned in their original purchase condition, with the original packing material.  After 7 days an in store credit is issued less any actual shipping and packaging costs. There are no refunds or store credits after 30 days.

Gallery Wrapped

All our hand painted oil paintings will arrive stretched over a wooden frame with the edges painted a dark colour or the painting wraps round the edge. See our section on gallery wrapping for details. This allows you to hang it immediately or it can be easily framed. Please add a note to your order if you would prefer the painting/s be rolled and shipping in a tube.

Changes

The web site pricing, descriptions, availability, and terms are subject to change at any time, without notice, and without obligation and are effective immediately. The prices shown do not include applicable taxes, shipping and handling, which is discounted within Canada and to the USA.

Privacy

The information provided for the sale and shipment of this art will not be sold or shared with any third party. Your address or email may be used to inform you of upcoming shows or special sales. You may request that your address or email be taken off the mailing list at any time through email to Customer Service
Your email and/or phone number will not be used for telemarketing purposes by us or sold or shared with any third parties. We may use email and/or phone number to confirm order arrangements and to validate the order, or to discuss business related to the order.
